AN ADVANCED SANDWICH CONCEPT OF HONEYCOMB HEXAGONAL CELLULAR CORE

Our cellular core is mainly made of Aluminum Alloy (Foils) with the expansion method:

Aluminum foil (in rolled form) is fed into high precision machine where continuous printing of adhesives is applied. Foils are cut, stacked in layers, cured and slices are sawed from the stacked to from the required thickness. The slices are then expanded to form Honeycomb Breadboards to required Length, Width and thickness.

The Process is as follows:

• Aluminum foil grinding
• Cleaning of the foil.
• Foil is then dipped in hot water bath
• Chopping
• Slab Curing.
• Band Saw cutting.
• Top and Bottom milling
• Core is then formed after expansion for the required length.
• Aluminum core is finally bonded (high temperature bonding) between the two sheets to get the breadboard.
